WHOLE SCHOOL FOCUS
The Whole school focus theme for this year is ‘COME HOLY SPIRIT’
This term at Mother Teresa School we will use the theme that: We are called to Dream
“Don't be afraid to dream big because we have a big God who can do all things. It is only through God's power that we can accomplish all the dreams he has put in our hearts.” Matthew 19:26
Our value for the next two weeks is ‘TRUTH’ and we can do this by:

- Seek meaning
- Tell the truth
PRAYER FOCUS
Thank you to Mrs Di-Pofi, Mrs Cooper and Year 2 Emerald and Mint who presented a beautiful focus assembly about ‘Truth’. They sang beautifully and captivated their audience with ‘I am the way, the truth and the life’. The scriptures reference was: "The Truth Will Set You Free" John 8:31-32 This is about being true with yourself, others and God. Thank you to all the parents who came along to lend their support.
CONFIRMATION 2024
Let us lift up those preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation that this unique time of preparation will inspire in their hearts a deep love for Christ and his Church.
Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.
Congratulations to our Year 6 students who were confirmed this week on Thursday and Friday Night. Their sense of reverence and awareness of the importance of the sacrament in their lives was very discerning. Our sincere thanks to Fr Troy and Fr Eden for their gentle and inspiring presence; Mel Unwin for her unfailing support, and to our Year 6 teachers, Kelly Boyton, Jodie Tanchevski, Jess Binet, Carly Reeves, Jason Smith and Kieran Russell, for their dedication in preparing the children so well. Lastly, to the Year 6 children who did not make their Confirmation but walked the journey with their peers.

Something to Think About
Who is God? What is God like? How would you describe God to someone?
The Story
We believe that God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When you make the Sign of the Cross, what words do you say? You will hear these words in the gospel reading today. Jesus told his disciples to baptise people in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These are still the words used to baptise people today.
