At Mother Teresa School we are surely blessed to have such a generous and giving community. Alison from St Vincent de Paul sent a big thank you for the hampers that you delivered this week together with the donation of $442.00 which will go towards helping needy families in the Gungahlin this Christmas. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to all those parents, who came along to the Thanksgiving Mass and Leadership Candle Ceremony on Tuesday. It was a wonderful celebration of another school year as we give thanks to our Year 6 leaders and those families and teachers who will be leaving Mother Teresa School. We wish them well on their journey!

Something to Think About
In today’s gospel, the people ask John the Baptist to tell them who he really is.
If somebody asked you to tell them who you really are, what would you say?
The Story
In today’s gospel, the people ask John the Baptist who he really is, and why he is baptising people.
John says he is not the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet. John tells the people that he is preaching and baptising in order to prepare for someone else who is coming after him.
The person John is talking about must be very special, because John doesn’t even feel worthy to untie that person’s sandals.
We know that the person John was taking about was Jesus.
