Principal's Message Term 3 Week 6 - 2023
Dear Parents
As a Catholic learning community,
all at Mother Teresa School are called
to care, to dream, to innovate, to inspire!
This has been a great community week with so many activities occurring across the week. It was great to see the return of parents to our events - Bottle Rocket Launch final, Book Week Parade, and the Kinder Prayer Assembly.
Staffing News
Today we farewelled Angela Connolly. Angela started teaching at Mother Teresa School in 2010, teaching Kinder and helping out, where she was needed, in the ELC. Following that she taught Indonesian and then the Art. Angela moved to Year 1 then back to her much loved Kinder.
Angela has been involved in the running of Teresa's Got Talent and has dressed up for many Book Week and fun days including the 100 days of Kinder!
A valued member of staff who will be missed. Our school will not be the same without her quick wit and happy disposition.
With Angela leaving our search for a teacher has been a key priority. For the remainder of the term the following arrangements have been put in place for Kinder Scarlett -
- Monday to Wednesday - Mrs Fiona Matchett
- Thursday and Friday - Mrs Kate Higgins
I would like to wish Carly Salmon all the very best as she heads to Japan, to play in some friendly matches to prepare for the National Para Football Championships and the 2023 IFCPF Asia-Oceania Championships (Para Asian Cup).
