Riding to school is a fantastic way to get in a little extra exercise, get our brains ready for the day ahead and to reduce the traffic congestion around our school. There are many resources produced by Transport ACT as part of the Active Streets and Ride or Walk to School to help get your child ready for their journey, including maps that show the pathway points around our school and ‘Last One Out’ and ‘First One In’ checklists. These are fantastic tools to utilise if your child is making their own way to school. Students in Years 3, 5 and 6 will be bringing the checklists home in sticker form this week, with Year 4 having already received their copy. If you would like a sticker version and have a student in a younger year level, please pop into the office and pick one up.
