On Wednesday some of our Year 6 students participated in the Wally Masur Cup tennis tournament. The students pitted their skills against another Northside school, Aranda Primary, in what was a chilly, but enjoyable day. All the students represented their respected schools with great distinction, displaying great sportsmanship and encouraging their peers. One of our teams won the event, while another was a close runner up. Tennis ACT is hopeful that there will be a finals day later in the year, consisting of the southside winners, so we will keep the community posted if and when this eventuates.
