Religious Education News - Anne Leet

WHOLE SCHOOL FOCUS
The Whole school focus theme for this year is ‘Walking Together’.
Our value for the next two weeks: ‘FAIRNESS’ and we can do this:
‘The Mother Teresa School Way’
- Everyone is treated equally
- No one is left out
- Follow rules in: sport, games, activities & in the community
- Communicate with honesty
- Are trustworthy
PRAYER FOCUS
Thank you to Mrs Pye, Mrs Bruce, and Year 1 Topaz and Amber who presented a beautiful focus assembly about Fairness. The students sang beautifully, and their actions reflected the spirit of fairness. The story ‘Fair is Fair’ reinforced the message that fairness does not mean everyone gets the same, it means everyone gets what they need. Thank you to all those parents and friends who came along to support the students.

“God sent his Son to save the world through him.”
Something to Think About
Who are the people in your life who love you? How do they show you that they love you?
God loves us so much that he sent his son, Jesus, to save the world.
The Story
In this Gospel, we hear about how much God loves us.
God the Father loves us so much that he sent his Son, Jesus, to save us.
Jesus promises that everyone who has faith in him will live forever.
On Trinity Sunday we think about the mystery of God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Make the Sign of the Cross together before you listen to the gospel reading.
