Principal's Report Week 6 Term 3
Dear Parents,
This week we received the results of the Parent Satisfaction Survey which was completed by 283 parents. Overall the results were very pleasing with the majority of parents, judging from the responses, pleased to have their children at Mother Teresa School and happy with the education we provide.
There were however a number of parents that raised concerns across a broad range of areas relating to the running of the school, its facilities and the teaching and learning programs run at MTS. As it was an anonymous survey I ask anyone who has concerns with any aspect of schooling at MTS to contact either Mr Hart or myself so we can discuss any issue you may have.
The results of the survey can be found on the schools website under the ‘Our School’ tab, then ‘Reports and Publications’.
North Gungahlin Athletics Carnival
Congratulations to the many students who represented MTS at the North Gungahlin Athletics Carnival. They all participated with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Tennis Representatives
Two students from MTS have been selected to represent the ACT in Tennis. Jack and Mackenzie Dugdale will participate in the Bruce Cup.
Both students travel great distances to many tournaments to improve their game and are looking forward to this Tournament.
Tennis ACT have set up a funding page to help defray the costs of all the squad members travelling to Perth.

Maths Problem
Sprinting
An athletic squad trains on a long straight track with dots marked at 10 m intervals.
The coach sets out cones on some of the dots for the squad’s sprint training drills. She wants the squad to be able to run any distance which is a multiple of 10 metres, up to some maximum distance which depends on the number of cones. For example, if she uses three cones, the coach can mark out distances of 10 m, 20 m, and 30 m as follows:
Show that 4 cones can be placed in a line such that each multiple of 10m up to 60m can be run between two of the cones.
God Bless
