Dear Parents,
Last week we had a very excited young lady from Year Six, Claudia Mencshelyi, who was the winner of the major walkathon prize of $1000! When put on the spot by Mr Hart and asked what she was going to do with her prize, she said she was going to share it with her family.
The walkathon was a major success with approximately $21,000 being raised. The literacy team is already thinking of books they can buy for class libraries.
I thank all who supported the walkathon by donating money; the parents who walked with the children and those that helped cook over one thousand sausages.
The fee schedule for the 2020 school year was sent home with children today. It is a hard copy so if you have not seen it please check your child’s bag. The fee structure was approved at the last Community Council meeting as was the school budget. Parents who wish may obtain a copy of the school budget be either visiting the front office or contacting Mrs Betts.
Last Monday saw the school commemorate Remembrance Day. This year we had an ex-student Corporal Lyndon Johns lead a group of cadets in a Catafalque Party which added to the ceremony. I thank all the parents and relatives who joined us particularly those that are active service men and women. All of the students involved should be proud of their efforts when reading, laying wreaths or being part of the entry procession or choir. It is always a service which shows respect and reverence. Thank you Danielle Cooper for putting the service together. It is her last service before she leaves MTS. She will be missed greatly.

A basketball team consisting of five players must choose a captain and a vice-captain. How many possible combinations are there?
God Bless
