This support may include the implementation at home and at school of strategies suggested by the School that will assist in accommodating the needs of the Student.

I understand that engaging in this behaviour may result in my access to the School being restricted, or revoked.
- I acknowledge that Parents are invited to participate in the total life of the School including class activities, parent/teacher nights, School/community liturgies and activities of the Parents and Friends Association and/or Board or Community Council. However, I understand that the School has the right to modify or restrict parental participation in School activities at the School's discretion.

Tell Them From Me Surveys
Parents, Teachers and Students in Years 4 - 6 are invited to provide feedback on their experience of our school using an online survey. The surveys are an important part of our whole school evaluation and planning process. Via a Compass message, you are invited to complete the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Partners in Learning survey.
We value the role of parents and carers within our school community, and we would appreciate your feedback. The information you provide will be used to maintain our commitment to working together in partnership, to further improve student learning and wellbeing at Mother Teresa School. The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. You are able to access the parent survey on your computer or mobile device through URL link that was sent out via Compass.

Trinity Sunday
Year C Sunday 12th June
“Whatever the Father has is mine.
The Spirit will receive what I give and
tell you about it.”
Preparing to Hear God’s Word
God is a mystery. We cannot explain God with words or pictures, but we can talk about what God is like. What is God like for you? Maybe like a friend who listens to you. Maybe like a mother who cares for you. Maybe like a father who fixes things for you. Maybe God is like the ocean which is powerful.
The Story
Jesus promised his disciples that even after he had gone to heaven, the Holy Spirit would come and keep on helping them. Jesus says the same to us: The Spirit helps us by showing us what is true and by telling Jesus’ message to us. On Trinity Sunday we remember that God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This reading from John’s gospel includes each of these three parts of the Trinity. See if you can listen out for each.
The Scriptures
A reading from the holy gospel according to John 16:12-15
Jesus said to his disciples:
"I have much more to say to you,
but right now it would be more than you could understand.
The Spirit shows what is true
and will come and guide you into the full truth.
"The Spirit does not speak on his own.
He will tell you only what he has heard from me,
and he will let you know what is going to happen.
"The Spirit will bring glory to me
by taking my message and telling it to you.
Everything that the Father has is mine.
That is why I have said
that the Spirit takes my message and tells it to you."
The Gospel of the Lord.
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
Something to Think About
In today’s reading, Jesus talked a lot about the Holy Spirit. Even though we cannot see the Spirit, we can still believe in the work of the Spirit. We cannot see the wind but we can see and feel the power of the wind. People who are filled with the Spirit are kind, patient, loving, compassionate and forgiving. Talk about the people in your life who are like this. Look out for them this week!
Peace and Best Wishes.

Scholastic Book Club
Please remember that the order cut-off date for issue 4 is Wednesday 15th June.
Please only order if you are able to collect at the second hand uniform shop in the school hall Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 8.30-9.00am once books arrive.
Parents can order online via the LOOP parent portal on the Scholastic website. No orders or cash will be accepted by the school, all orders must be made online. Late orders or orders from the previous catalogue are charged a flat rate for home postage.
While school Covid restrictions remain in place, orders will be available for pick up from the school second hand uniform shop when they arrive. Dates will be advised in the newsletter and on Compass. Students in years 5 and 6 may pick up orders themselves on the way into school, however all other orders must be collected by parents. Please only order if you are able to collect at the second hand uniform shop Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 8.30-9.00am. If you are unable to do so, please order direct to your home after the catalogue has closed for school orders.
A reminder that missing or damaged orders can be reported to Scholastic using their online contact information, and that out of stock items already paid for are usually credited to the LOOP account. Parents concerned about missing, misplaced or damaged orders are advised to wait until the catalogue is closed and use the home postage option. MTS Community Council parent volunteers will be running the Book Club, so please ensure any inquiries are directed to them via the office email, rather than to school staff, teachers or librarians. We will be doing our best to make the trial run smoothly, and look forward to using school reward points earned to purchase additional books for classroom readers.
MTS Community Council - Social Club Upcoming Events & More!
MTS Social Committee – upcoming events and more!!
It’s been a tough time for the Social Committee trying to arrange events in and around COVID so we’re excited to announce some MTS Social Events for 2022!!
Kicking off this term with our 80’s Zumba Party on 17 June (see the details below) and a Trivia Night in Term 3.
80’s Zumba Party – In the School Hall on 17th June 2022 7-9pm
Bookings: $10 https://www.trybooking.com/CABKC
With a few of our members leaving last year we would love to welcome some new members. If the Social Committee sounds like your sort of gig don’t be shy, get in touch. You can learn more about what we do and just sign on for the Trivia Night if you’d like a taster. Contact us at: MTScommunitycouncil@mail.com or through one of the Facebook pages.
Speaking of Facebook, we’re also pleased to launch our “MTS Community” Facebook page. If you’re interested in keeping up to date with all the social events & fundraisers happening at the school join up! One of our aims is to promote a strong friendly community at MTS. Having our own page means we will transition away from putting up too much information about Social Events and fundraisers on the individual Year level pages. What’s that? You didn't know about the Year level Facebook pages? They are a great way to communicate/connect with other families at MTS – perfect for finding that lost jumper, trying to recall if it’s dress up/party day, organising year level catchups etc. Check out the links below to find us and don’t forget about the school run Facebook page as well.
Facebook pages (run through Mother Teresa School Community Council (MTSCC)):
Note: The individual year level pages are renewed at the end of each year and you need to rejoin the new group.
